The Revolving Triangle A (yoga sanskrit name: parivritta trikonasana) also promotes stability in partnership with gravity. Drawing the feet away from each other on the transition forward, while twisting from the centre of the chest with subtle movements introduced in the shoulders, supports the spine while tweaking insights on stability in mobility.
The low lunge is the first of the Baseworks Practice lunging series. It lengthens/ strengthens the quadricep muscles, opens the groin and hips, creates space in the spine and opens the chest, promoting increased lung capacity.
The Triangle (yoga sanskrit name: trikonasana) is one of the many standing poses that promotes stability in partnership with gravity. The "A" version is all about "feeling" how the weight of the upper body hardwires the understanding of the centre point of gravity.
